Barley Lane Primary School has a wide range of policies which are prepared and approved by the Senior Leadership Team and the Governing Body.
Policies address the practical implications of how to achieve the school’s vision as expressed in its School Development Plan and they are the key points to ensure that these values underpin day to day decisions and activities in school.
All policies are intended to guide the school community to provide a framework for the smooth running of the school. They are about ensuring highly effective teaching and learning, about safety and safeguarding our children and staff.
Policies are reviewed regularly: either annually or on a 2-4 years cycle depending on the policy.
