We highly recommend NRICH at Barley Lane, for its challenging maths puzzles and activities. The website will be publishing a full range of resources for Parents on 31st March, but in the meantime its 'FOR TWO' collection of games for adults and children should keep you occupied!

The Literacy Shed is a wonderful resource for children and parents to access at home, with a wide range of animations and videos to stimulate discussion, reflection and writing. We can't recommend it highly enough at Barley Lane!

 British Museum


The British Museum's 'Museum of the World' site is mind-blowing! It's 'Teaching History with 100 Objects' is also an important resource.

BBC has two platforms for KS1 History: Bitesize History for KS1 and BBC Teach KS1. You can find KS2 resources on Bitesize History KS2 and BBC Teach KS2.

OS Mapzone

The Ordnance Survey site contains education resources for teachers, which can also be used at home. Its MAPZONE is very engaging and children can access it independently.
