Believe in yourself, Learn together, Persevere and Succeed

Message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents &Carers
It’s hard to believe that the academic year has come to an end. What a busy year it has been! We have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 70th birthday and welcoming our families, past pupils and former staff to celebrate. All who have visited have praised the school for its welcoming atmosphere, vibrant learning environment and wonderful children. I completely agree!
We say goodbye to our Year 6 children today. They have grown and developed in so many ways during their time here and we are so proud of what they have achieved. There have been challenges, particularly during the pandemic, which they have faced and overcome. I have no doubt that the transition to secondary school will be a successful one for all!
We say farewell to a number of support staff this term and wish them all the very best in their future endeavours: Mrs Gashi, Miss Hames, Mr Heeralal, Mrs Mohamed, Miss Morris and Miss Shehu. We also say goodbye to Mrs Kilic who has worked tirelessly in the dining hall and wish her all the best.
Thank you for the kind words and gifts for our dedicated and hardworking staff over the past week. They are truly appreciated. I wish you all a restful summer break! We look forward to welcoming the children back on Wednesday 6th September, where we’ll do it all again! Take care, Mr Henry
